The Iconic Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur

I knew it; the twin towers are awesome during the night. Its impressive design is amazing. The construction of the building is indeed gorgeous but it doesn’t have any impact on daylight. We are more interested of seeing the towers outside than lining up on a queue and see what’s in there. They say that the view from the Petronas is spectacular; maybe it’s a shame not to go up to the towers while were there. The towers illuminate in the dark and I guess I am contented seeing the towers at a fantastic sight.

To avoid the crowd, we went there at ten in the evening. They look very appealing except for the booth that blocks the splendid view of the Twin Towers. I think it was the King’s birthday and there were some events going on outside Suria KLCC. It was so hard to take photos with those stalls blocking the Twin Towers. We’ve been to every corner of the area but we’re unable to take some good shots until a Chinese lady climb up to the bricks and pose. So we, being the typical Filipino “Gaya Gaya”, Mar went up to the bricks. Our friends started to take some photos of him, we all went up desperately and the rest is history. There were some other Foreigners who did the same. It was funny, crazy and foolish but incredible experience considering the fact that I cannot carry myself alone. *laughs*

How booths ruined your background picture

There was a fountain light show at the back of the Klcc Shopping Mall. We watched a little and then left. It was kind of lame, boring or whatever. We went to Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang area to eat. I thought it was dubbed as inexpensive food. Think about Banchetto but it was kind of costly probably because we didn’t go through to hunt some cheap food due to starvation. When the Chinese woman approached us, we immediately sit there and waited long enough to get our food served.

Prior to seeing the Petronas Towers we explored Low Yat Plaza where plenty of gadgets can be found at a discounted price. We also visited Hindu’s sacred place, Batu caves which is situated 13 kilometers away from Kuala Lumpur. It was a 12-hour trip, it was exhausting but we had so much fun!
