Loosen up on a water villa, relax at my own plunge pool and just simply enjoy the sunset while having a refreshing drink is something I’ve longed for during a holiday break. I found myself at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, a 2-hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur that offers stunning and fabulous private pool villas for an ultimate city break.
Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the staff and a buggy driver took me to my room. I was overwhelmed by how huge the resort was and the friendliness of the staff, not to mention that it feels like home because the front desk people were all Filipinos!
The moment I entered the room, I felt really great! It is very spacious, clean, so much complimentary drinks, fruits, cookies, local snacks, and everything in the mini bar is free unlike with other hotels that you have to pay. The room includes two generous king sized bed with a spare couch to relax, Flat Screen TV, glass panel on the floor where you can see the marine life below, a spacious bathroom, and what makes it special is the private dip pool and sauna as your balcony facing the sea and other pool villas as well depending on where your room is facing. The good thing is that all rooms have a private swimming pool. Talking about refine luxury, Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson has it all!
I immediately soaked myself in my own 1.2-meter plunging pool, the 2 hr drive from KL is really worth the trip. The view is just spectacular especially witnessing the sunrise and the sunset that kissed the beautiful sea. I can say
that the main highlight of the room is the private pool with a panoramic sea view, it is so fab! I normally don’t watch TV when in a hotel but the Flat screen TV at Lexis is very tempting with all these entertainment in store, I watched a couple of movies!
The next morning, I had a breakfast buffet overlooking the swimming pool and water villas at Roselle Coffee House. They served local and international cuisine. Food was delicious and what better way to start my day than having a hearty breakfast with a great view from the Alfresco vantage point.
In the afternoon, I did the Hibiscus Walk and enjoyed the sea breeze on the beach. The beach is also filled with hawker stalls from different states like Penang Hawkers, Malacca Nyonya, and Negeri Sembilan delicacies. There’s also a wide range of selection from BBQ, Malay to Indian food depending on your mood towards food. Refreshments are available as well to quench your thirst. Cendol, Ice Kacang, Bubur Chacha and other oriental desserts to beat the heat. Diet is not an option here. Don’t fret because they also have Gym facilities for Gym junkies and anyone who’s staying fit is a must.
Nights at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is never dull. One can visit Sky lite bar on the 13th floor of the main building that offers a breathtaking view of the Straits of Malacca while having a glass of Mojito, the hibiscus villas
lit at night. It is so damn beautiful. On the other side, the Lighthouse Bar perched at the highest floor of lighthouse club is another drinking abode with great views and a good spot to catch up with friends.
The facilities and services are superb. I absolutely admire not because Lexis Hibiscus is new in Port Dickson that boasts all water villas equipped with private pool but because of the excellent customer service. Everyone is very attentive, helpful and polite. From the Lobby with live bands, concierge and Tour desk that is ready to assist you, a great massage at Lex Spa, and the ever reliable buggy that will offer a ride when they see you walking. It’s the little things that give an overall impact of a great resort stay.
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson also offers indoor activities like Kidz World, Starz Karaoke, Shops, and a photo booth which makes it only not perfect for solo travelers that seek solitude but as well as for families seeking a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Fun activities at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson are plenty such as Bicycle, these includes tandem bicycle as an option, Yoyo Car, Archery, Ninebot Segway, Water Cruise, Fish Feeding, Kayak, Jetski, Bandwagon and other water sport pursuit, shuttle buggy that will tour you around, and helicopter ride if you want to take your activity to the highest level and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the water villas on a beautiful Hibiscus Scheme. Whatever outdoor recreation you choose, I’m pretty sure that it’ll surely create and leave you with new and wonderful memories with your kids, partner or your friends.
Water villa at Lexis Hibiscus is top notch! No wondered it was awarded by Guinness World Records as The most swimming pools in a resort at 643 and The most over-water villas in a single resort at 522. That’s Insanely a world class achievement!
These water villas are really tempting, I know because I had a marvelous stay at the Resort, It’s like my kind of Water Villa that don’t want to make me leave!
