Buibui Bakehouse is a Japanese style café at Jalan Sepadu Taman United Old Klang Road serving fresh bake toast which ingredients are imported from Japan. Housed in a minimalist, creamy white bungalow with a lax interior and an alfresco dining. Buibui Bakehouse’ Japanese inspired menu covers Hokkaido Toast, Melon Pan, Sando, fluffy milk toast and house made coffee mocktails to paired it off.
The white Volkswagen in front of the bake house is probably one of the things that lure café hoppers for a quick caffeine fix. The entrance itself is such an attraction. Who can’t say no to a patio café with parasols and refreshing plants?
The café is super appealing and I fell in love with the ambiance but just like any other new cafes, I feel like they’re not ready to open yet especially when people flock together to check out a new café in town. Café itself is not completely finished yet, the 2nd floor is not available yet and a spacious area behind is so empty. Grueling long queue with disorganize approach to new comers. Limited seats, slow service, and the worse is offering a table under a scorching sun at the back of the café.
Strawberry Hokkaido Toast and dirty latte was our best picks here. Big fluffy milk toast topped with Hokkaido Vanilla Ice Cream and fresh strawberry compote. The edible gold leaf made it lavish and more tempting! The Chocolate Pound Cake and Lemon Pound Cake were average though. Coffee doesn’t disappoint and the amounts of choices are endless from your favorite hot and iced classics to home made coffee mocktails and hand drip coffee. Morning coffee crave will surely be solved or probably another round will be on it’s way, too. I ordered another one despite the queue.
Will probably visit the next time I’m around Old Klang Road on weekday, but until then.. Let’s give this café the benefit of the doubt. Who knows the next day would be systematic.
