Let’s Sea Restaurant is a lovely spot in Hua Hin to dine and wine. The restaurant serves Authentic Thai and International Cuisine with a trendy, serene ambiance overlooking the breathtaking ocean.
Let’s Sea is famous in Hua Hin as one of the Luxe Restaurant serving traditional local food, and they take pride not just on the chic setting with views of the sea, but highly in preserving their heritage food that revives childhood memories and past urbanity.
I was in luck to experience Let’s Sea Culture and Thai Cuisine during my stay at Loligo Resort.

Wine Tasting
The beachfront bar enticed us to sit and relished Chardonay and Sauvignon Blanc while appreciating the tropical views. I adored the appetizers presentation, which consists of some local crackers, peanuts, and eggs with caviar on top. I am in love with the views, and I felt grateful for having the kind of vacation that I want.
Starters
We begin our 4-course meal with Thai Aromatic Fish Cake with Cucumber Relish. First bite tasted delectable. The red curry paste mixed well with the kaffir leaves blew my taste buds and it was cooked to my liking. A chili sauce would be out of the picture because the fish cake itself is already spicy. Koms adored the fish cake as much as I did! We both love it!
Soup
Next in line we had “Tom Kha Kai” which is basically a chicken in spicy and sour coconut milk soup. I’m 100% Coconut milk fanatic and I love that this soup’s base is coconut milk, rich, smooth and creamy! The spiciness is well balanced. Tom Kha Kai becomes my favorite dish in an instant that night! Must try!
Mains
We were given three dishes to choose from the Menu for the mains. As long as there is no beef, Koms will be fine. I chose Sauteed Calamari with Chili and Basil Leaves, Baked Pork Spareribs with Pineapple, and Thai Omelet with Shrimps.
The Calamari unpredictably tastes yummy and crunchy. The Spareribs is something a little unusual with the pineapple, but not in Hua Hin! Most of their local dishes come with pineapple. I am quite a pineapple snob, but I’m a fan of spareribs so I would say, the pineapple spareribs were a bomb! When the staff asked if I need more wine, I nodded with the spareribs on my hand! My aunt told me that the best way to eat spareribs is to get your hands dirty. I always hold the bone with my fingers and smack the meat! Napkins were there for a reason, anyway! Hands down to the Spareribs! DROOL.
I would say I slightly neglected the Thai Omelet not because I was hooked to spareribs, it was savoury and the edges were crispy, but the shrimps were not that much. They also served Jasmine Rice that made me really full!
Dessert
You know there’s always room for desserts and we had Exotic Seasonal Fruits, which was beautifully presented. It consists of Mango, Papaya, Grapes that were cleverly hidden under the sweet mango and of course, Hua Hin’s Pride -Pineapple!
While finishing the fruits, Koms did a pretty good job at telling me to take a side view turn as she kept saying from Last night I looked like Chinese when I tucked my hair. She wanted to tell this time “Chinese mixed lah, mixed with… Mixed with what ah?!” Then boom… 4-5 people singing happy birthday. Quite loud enough to turn some other guests head with smiling faces.
They wished me an advance Happy Birthday. I was extremely joyful and felt so special that night. We ate the cake! But, we didn’t finish there. We headed back to the beachfront bar and ended with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the full glowing moon. Sublime!
