Michelle Young Café – A new gorgeous Teashop in Aurora Place Bukit Jalil. The entrance greets guests with a welcome floor mat signage, a vintage off-white anterior with its window glass and old-fashioned brick wall. The words “Cakes” and “Desserts” calls for an ultimate sampling temptation. With its charming coffee shop front design and baked pastries – you’ll surely be enticed!
Michelle Young Café interior is, indeed, exquisite. Glam up with contemporary wood furniture with its lovely chandelier that creates a warm ambiance. The dried natural flowers, pines, and creamed coloured dried pampas grass in vase adds fluff and texture to the overall décor. I’m in love with the place, but it is relatively small. Only a handful of people could fit in – which pretty much explains why we waited for so long to get in. Patience is not my strong suit, and waiting is not my cup of tea.
You’ll completely notice how busy the counter is, but when your eyes being lured to its custom baked cookies, scones, doughnuts and bread, your frustration will be vanished in an instant. We had Café Americano (RM 9), White Chocolate Macadamia Raspberry (RM 15), Nutella Doughnut (RM 12), Mini Matcha Cheesecake (RM 15), Belle Cupcake (RM12), Café Latte (RM 10). I adored all except the Mini Matcha Cheesecake – it was a mistake! I could’ve gotten myself some S’mores and triple dark chocolate cookie which I was eyeing, too. Hands down to Nutella Doughnut though. Filling and fluffy – I highly recommend it! The White Chocolate Macadamia Raspberry was a seasonal pastry, I think it deserve to be on their everyday menu – full of flavour and appetizing.
Overall Experience is 7/10. Michelle Young would certainly please your sweet tooth cravings. Make sure to tag along your dessert buddy!
Will probably revisit for some Iced Snowy Oolong tea and another appealing pastry.
