Timothy Highstreet is a vintage café in the tranquil area of Chinatown. A classic shophouse for over 100 years old turned into a retro café. Its old-fashioned charisma will tempt you for a cup of coffee, breakfast, brunch or even teatime! Timothy has been overshadowed by its sister’s café Kleptokrat, often, café hoppers will choose the latter and will swing by for an alley beside Timothy with the colorful umbrellas for an Insta photo op.
Timothy surprisingly served good food, more choices, and even big portions! The variety is so vast that doesn’t only include local modern cuisine but as well as western cuisine and plates inspired from neighboring countries like Indonesia and Thailand. Desserts options are vast too. No wonder bikers stop by for breakfast here!
The ambiance is nothing short of timeless. From the intricate tiles to the warm lights hanging on the ceiling, wooden furniture, dried flowers, and an eccentric sewing machine table – everything looks so appealing and quirky!
Staff are friendly and service is fast, too. The only drawback is that the music is a bit loud. Timothy can be your workplace whilst enjoy a cup of coffee, but this is going to be “NO” if you have online meetings since the music could be annoying. Nevertheless, Timothy is a wonderful café!
Cheesecake hit the spot – Delicious and a perfect choice to end the meal.
Timothy Highstreet is so underrated. Old Charm, Delicious meals, delightful desserts, and quality coffee!
