Wizards at Tribeca is a popular brunch spot in Imbi (near Bukit Bintang) Kuala Lumpur. This contemporary restaurant and bar concept is luckily not closing! Happy that they were able to bounce back after pandemic hits them rock bottom. This award-winning café will absolutely take you into a gastronomical adventure. Wizards at Tribeca not only bring magic on the plate but will also leave your date spellbound with the exquisite dishes!
Located at the ground floor of Tribeca Bukit Bintang, Wizards natural light seams through the glass window and hanging plants that are cunningly placed around the bar area. The interior is modest yet classy.
We started off with their signature drinks – Dirty Latte (RM15), a double ristretto with milk and Wizards Signature White (RM15) both with a Wizard secret milk element. The Wizards Signature White tasted delicious. I wouldn’t mind ordering it the next time I visit the restaurant. The barista used a handheld torch flame to toast the marshmallow on top. It tastes better when it’s burned over flames. A great way to start our day off right – with fire!
Specialty Brunch is how we roll, we picked Almond Crusted Brioche French Toast (RM34), fluffy almond-coated brioche toast layered with forest berries, mascarpone cream and gula Melaka. Probably the best French Toast in KL. Hands down!
We also added some French Sourdough (RM 8), simple yet crusty and perfectly paired with butter. We then sampled Matcha Ravioli (RM30), an open-faced ravioli made with Niko Neko matcha, served with smoked duck, mushroom fricassee, raw egg yolk and grated cheese. At first, we can’t seem to taste the matcha but the more we tasted it, the gentler the flavor kicks in. We were intrigue by how delish the food was. Matcha and Ravioli sounds like a unique pairing but once tasted, it’s the best of both worlds.
Like any other foodie, we ended our feast with desserts! Matcha Strawberry – Fresh strawberry salsa, homemade strawberry jam, matcha pastry cream. Rich, luscious, and intricate detail sums up the gorgeousness of this plate. We sampled Salted Egg and Chocolate which comprises of salted egg yolk custard, dark chocolate ganache and salted egg crumble. We ate our tart out!
It is very hard not to fall in love with the sophisticated food served at Wizards. It’s mouth-watering masterpieces on the plate has casted me.
Enchanted in every way. Or shall I say, it was beyond magic!
