Stumbled upon Resort De Paskani with a gorgeous Mediterranean style hotel. The resort is design like a typical Greek architecture; so dreamy it made me feel like I was in Santorini! I was spellbound by the shades of white and blue and I know from that moment that I am in for some Grecian-like treat!
The staff slightly bows and put their hands together in between their chests and greeted us “Sawasdee ka!” Resort de Paskani made me feel at home in a matter of seconds. One of the staff ushered us to the room and the building structure is predominantly white. Although there is no big blue dome like in Santorini, the entire resort were designed like it. The cute alleys leading to one staircase to another is yet another gem to discover.
Greek Style Room
Our room is perched on the 3rd floor of the hotel with a balcony facing the turquoise pool and white and blue rooftops. Love the minimalistic all-white suite and blue painted windows and doors. We also get a little ocean view from our window room, and just a few minute walks from the famous Khao Takiab beach. The room is equipped with a very generous queen size comfy bed, a huge sofa with so many pillows on it, and a flat screen TV that we never used for the whole 3 days and 2 nights stay as we enjoyed the pool so much! They also provided an in house safe box, slippers, bathrobes, and beach towels in a huge navy blue straw bag. They also set up a blue and white wooden drawer for Coffee & Tea making facilities and a mini fridge full of complimentary drinks.
The room has a huge and clean bathroom with a Santorini inspired deco, a stainless gold shower with water heater and a patchwork blue mosaic wall tiles. Complete with bath amenities, I adored the white bath towels that were placed in a big rattan basket, I don’t know why, but I have a thing for rattan and I find it so cute!
The Pool
Resort De Paskani’s set up some villas with pretty much access to the pool and it’s very tempting not to take a dip. We even met new friends from a group of Thai from Bangkok spending their long weekends on the resort. We had fun conversations with them while having a relaxing float from one of the unicorn pool float offered by the resort. One of them mentioned that we choose the right resort to stay in Hua Hin. Apparently, it was their last night and we were sad that they’re leaving. I am grateful to meet some cool friends during my travels, as always. We get connected through Instagram though, which is really amazing!
Resort de Paskani Restaurant and Bar
Another lovely gem is the resort’s restaurant and Bar with Boho Chic flare. The restaurant conveys spontaneity and creativity. Dried flowers and marble tabletops made it look very stylish. Subtle in its design, I love to start our day at the restaurant with some mocha and art Latte, bacon, sausages, some local dumplings, toast bread and sunny side up egg.
We also sampled some of the signature cocktails from the bar and a sumptuous dinner of Greek Salad, Tom Yam, Beef Steak, Cod Fish, and a birthday surprise dessert with a happy birthday song!

Location
Resort De Paskani is tucked away in peaceful area of Mobaan Takiab, making it a walking distance to Khao Takiab beach. They say it’s a bit far from the city, however, most resorts in Hua Hin still need to use transportation in order to go around. I love that it is near Cicada and Tamarind Market, the places with so much happening at night. I did not expect that the hotel has service transportation there and I was just pretty impressed by the simple gesture. We initially requested for some Tuktuk to take us to Tamarind, but were really surprised they got it covered for us!
The Staff
These people touch my heart in a charming way. It is well known that Thai’s are very hospitable and each to his own experience like my previous trips to Koh Samui, Krabi and the rest of Thailand were all not good due to language barriers. In Resort de Paskani, they know how to take care of their guests and the smiles were pretty genuine. They may only have few rooms, but their service is 5 Star!
Resort De Paskani caught me by surprise. It wasn’t my actual birthday yet, but they made it memorable. I have nothing but gratefulness from the rest of the team.
