Cintai Corito’s Garden – a Bali inspired resort located in Balete, Batangas. Cintai is an Indonesian word for “love”. It is a perfect getaway for friends and family. They have different amenities in the garden. They have 18 villas, 4 swimming pools to enjoy, playground your kids may enjoy, bars, pavilions, cabanas, rooms that suits your needs, garden villa and they have a mini zoo and some animals like peacock, deers, and mini horses roaming around the garden. They offer a day tour and overnight packages. They also cater any events like weddings, debuts and the like.
You don’t need to go to Indonesia to experience Bali. It is just a two hour bus from the city. The place is not crowded and very relaxing. They also have an outstanding service and they never failed me to impress me. Their staffs are very welcoming and they attend to our needs quickly. It was an EAT PRAY LOVE moment for me and my best friend. They usually served their lunch in the bar but the staff did not mind to bring the food near the pool since we were swimming at the time. The food was incredible; their “inihaw na Bangus, Kaldereta and sinabawang monggo” was amazing! It was Palm Sunday, a good time to meditate, pray and the best way to spend my time with my best friend. We promise to go to Bali, indonesia someday.
The place is really refreshing that I don’t want to go back to Manila. It’s like all of your problems are removed temporarily. Coritios garden is indeed a wonderful place to unwind. I adore the place so much that I will go back some other time and will definitely recommend this for friends and other people seeking for a real relaxation. The place is not crowded and it was a great choice to just take a road trip instead of booking a flight to other places which will definitely cost me more money. I had really a great time. This was actually my first trip with my best friend who doesn’t like to travel much but she really had a wonderful time.
There is a story behind the Coritos Garden and you may check it here. Since Ms. Patricia is not available that time. I met Ms. Cathy, a very energetic and friendly Manager. I would like to thank her for her kindness. She even offered us a free ride to Manila but we wanted to take advantage of the place while were there. Truly Coritos Garden is not just a beautiful place to unwind but it is surrounded with good and hospitable staffs and Manager.
Here’s my short interview with the Ms. Cathy Maralit – Coritos Manager.
1. Me: What makes your resort different from the others?
Cathy: The garden started out as a private family rest house. A Bali theme garden and was constructed because of their love to their mother Corito who love the place and stayed there during her chemotherapy days. This is not actually more of a business; this place is more of a labor of love.
2. Me: Do you think your room rates, day tours, pavilion events are overpriced?
Cathy: No. We make sure our guest get the satisfaction they get from the place. We have facilities and amenities that will suit their needs plus you don’t need to fly to experience Bali. It is right here. Some hotels and resorts are expensive but our resort is highly competitive. We have a mini zoo and a garden to maintain that our guest can enjoy.
3. Me: What changes would you like to implement in the future?
Cathy: Currently our pavilion can accommodate up to 200 people. More events are gathered here and most requested to add more than 200 people to fit in the pavilion. We are looking forward of constructing a new pavilion that can accommodate up to 500 people.
4. Me: Do you think your guest meet their expectations of the Resort?
Cathy: Yes! In fact most of our guest loves the garden so much. Most of them said that the place is better compare to the pictures they’ve seen in the website. Our guests are so proud that they experience a piece of Bali. They even think that they’ve been to Bali and they’re so happy to post their pictures in Facebook and tweet about us.
5. Me: How do you ensure guest satisfaction at Coritos Garden?
Cathy: Customer satisfaction is very important to us. We value our guest. Our staffs are always there to attend to the needs of our guest. We currently have 18 Villas that our guest can use. Their comfort is essential to us and we make sure we provide them their needs. Our place is truly an ideal getaway whether you’ll be spending it with your family or friends. Cintai Coritos Garden provides relaxation, enjoyment and will leave you with a Bali experience you will never regret.
