The digital age has made it very easy for you to connect with anyone; regardless of their location. This is part of the reason that there has been such a boom in entrepreneurs across the country. It is so easy to contact people and market your products and services online that geographic location is no longer an issue.
In fact this is great for the estimated 1 – 2% of the population with agoraphobia. You don’t even have to leave your home to create a viable business or connect with other people.
World Travel
In fact you can travel the world without leaving your home. Science fiction is starting to make the impossible possible.
Virtual reality is developing rapidly. You can now strap a device on and connect your app. In an instant you can be scaling Everest, flying through or over the Grand Canyon or even stand on the deck of a sunken ship and watch a huge whale swim past.
It is literally possible to travel the world from your own home. But, at this stage virtual reality will allow you to see these places; it won’t give you the sensations of touch and allow you to interact with your surroundings.
However, there is another issue with this. Virtual reality takes away the ability to connect with other people on a physical level. This is more important than it may sound.
In fact, a recent study showed that a lack of physical contact will increase the risk of depression, stress and worsen health conditions.
The Simple Solution
The problem is that travelling tends to be an expensive and time consuming issue. But, you can find a way to bond with other people and experience travel that is out of this world; without having to spend a fortune.
What you actually need is a little imagination and an opportunity to bond as part of a team. In fact, you can even travel outside of this world and enjoy the human contact (and perhaps alien) that you’re currently missing.
