Who will not fall in love with Prague? Stunning city, Medieval Charm, breathtaking views, gorgeous architecture, Delicious local food, inexpensive tasty beers, and absolutely a magical city that will totally leave you awe-struck!
I hate climbing and I am okay with long walks but in Prague, I don’t care about climbing, walking, and even getting lost because every corner is so darn beautiful! I kinda wanna say that again, every corner is so darn beautiful! Prague is full of wonderful lookouts and here are the 8 Best bird’s eye view of Prague in no particular order.
1. Old Town Hall Tower
Climb the Old Town Hall Tower to get the best 360-degree view of the city. This tower is just right in the heart of the Old Town Square. No need to Book in Advance but it can get pretty crowded. Fortunately no queue during my visit, prolly they were busy watching the astronomical clock? Might be! Nevertheless, I was blown away by the view from the top. Climb here is pretty easy, just a combination of stairs and elevator. If you have limited time, Do this one! You can’t go wrong with the view from the Old Town Hall Tower!
Opening Hours: 09:00 – 22:00
Entrance Fee: 130 CZK
2. Old Town Bridge Tower
The scenery from the Old Town Bridge Tower is such a killer! Climbing here is not that difficult, but just mind your head for the low beams of the top deck. I took the spiral staircase and purchased the ticket halfway the climb. They also sell souvenirs and tickets to other towers in Prague. I must be so lucky, there isn’t much tourist climbing this most impressive Gothic tower, I am quite not sure why this tower has been overlooked by many, the view from the top is just spectacular with the very different angle of the city. While people are busy walking on the famous Charles bridge, I am busy enjoying the Panoramic view of the Charles Bridge and the city! Give this view a shot! It’s all worth it!
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
Entrance Fee: 90 CZK
3. The Lesser Town Bridge Tower
I love this charismatic medieval tower on the little quarter side of the Charles Bridge and surprisingly the view is just one of my favorite lookouts in Prague! The stairs are steep but once you get to the top, it is the perfect opportunity to take lots of photos and enjoy the views. This is one of the most famous viewpoints in Prague but the trick here is to climb early before it gets crowded so you can adore the greatest view of the city without rushing. Prague is best to be marveled slow and appreciate all its beautiful surroundings.
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
Entrance Fee: 90 CZK
4. The Powder Tower
Get the best view of the Charles Bridge Tower, the old Town Square and the castle from The Powder Tower early in the morning when the view is clear. The Climb is a narrow, winding and spiral-ish, but be prepared to get different views of Prague. The great thing about climbing here is that there is less crowd but more time for interesting photo ops. It is impossible to miss this one!

5. Castle Hill
Visiting the Prague Castle being the world’s largest castle to wander and look at the view from Castle Hill is another thing because the view right here is terrific! You can walk through the complex streets and stairs, take the bus/tram or you can choose the path I took from Letna Park. It’s not that far and definitely not exhausting. I avoided the long set of stone and narrow stairs, going down was easy and that’s what I did! This option is only possible if you are coming from Letna Park. Whatever path you take though, a fabulous sight awaits you!
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
FREE Entrance
6. Petrin Hill and Tower
Probably the Eiffel Tower version of Prague. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not a fan of trekking and getting to Petrin Hill requires climbing the hill and that’s a long shot. I took the easy way – ride the Funicular! From the station, it would only take a few steps to the tower. The Tower sits on top of the Petrin Hill and in order to get an unrivaled view of Prague, you have to climb the 299 steps. 299 steps?! I did what I do best, Slacker mode on and took the elevator with a fee. It’s very windy on top, I felt like the tower was swaying. Absolutely an eagle eye view of the entire city Prague and the Vltava river.
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
Entrance Fee: 150 CZK
Additional Fee: 60 CZK (If you take the Lift)
Funicular to Petrin tower: 24 CZK
7. St.Wenceslas vineyard
I stopped for a drink and the view here is not just relaxing but unbelievably beautiful with an array of vineyards. This is a great stop from a tiring day of exploring the Castle District. Just take that moment to enjoy a fabulous drink or meal with a fabulous view of the city!
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
FREE Entrance
8. Letna Park
Ever wondered where that famous postcard of Prague was taken? Letna Park is the answer! Would you believe I took the walk from my hotel in lesser town to Letna Park? Oh yes, after I spent 4 hours of enjoying a pork knuckle at U Schnellu and a walked to Letna Park was a good idea. This is the greener part of Prague where it’s more laid back and a great place to chill from the hustle bustle of Old Town. I Loved strolling here, this is where the locals hang out, some graffiti, metronome, skaters, beer and sceneries or you can just sit down on a bench and relax. My shot can’t do justice! If you have time in Prague, Don’t miss this out! This is no doubt the most beautiful park I have ever been. Nothing beats the view! Just Wow!
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
FREE Entrance
Prague is a city that stole my heart. If Prague is not on your bucket list.
